Thank you for your interest in Habitat for Humanity "HFH" Northumberland. There are many opportunities to volunteer with HFH Northumberland. The information you provide will help us to place you in a volunteer position which best suits your skills, interests and the needs of our organization. Every effort will be made to accommodate those who wish to volunteer for a specific project or position. However, due to the popularity of our building projects we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all requests.

This information will assist us in identifying an appropriate volunteer position for you.

All volunteers on our construction sites must wear CSA Approved steel-toe shoes/boots and a Class E-Type II hard hat. All ReStore volunteers must wear CSA Approved steel-toe shoes/boots. Habitat Northumberland has a fairly good selection of safety gear to loan to volunteers, but cannot guarantee a perfect fit. Please bring your own safety gear if you have it.

All construction volunteers will have to complete the mandatory HFHN SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Training program before working on a build site. Information about these sessions will be sent to all volunteers.
