While we didn't win the $20,000 from Canada Helps, we were super excited to hear that our neighbours in Peterborough did. In the process of urging our community to donate in June so that we could enter in the draw, we raised over $1700 towards our building fund which goes directly to materials to build affordable homes in Northumberland.

We're also doubly happy that we got to work with our long time donors Karen and Shane Watson to promote this virtual fundraising event, and they are the best!
