Habitat In Action
Habitat In Action Week brings businesses, volunteers, and community together for a week of hands-on impact. Sponsors and teams help Habitat build, repair and grow. Our goal is to raise $50,000 for families in need here in Northumberland County!
Corporate teams choose a day from July 13th to 18th to swap the board room for a day of teamwork with purpose. Each day is structured for team building, community impact, environmental sustainability, and volunteer engagement. Thank you for taking a concrete step toward stronger, more stable housing in Northumberland.
Ways to get involved:
1) Rally your team. We can accommodate teams of 2, 4 or up to 10 individuals. Choose between Community Sponsor, Impact Sponsor or Team Registration.
2) Choose your day. Tell us your top 2 days between July 13th-18th and we will work with you to find the best fit. Days may fill quickly, act now to reserve your spot. Each day has a maximum of 20 spots available.
3) Make real impact. Bring your energy, roll up your sleeves and get ready for a fun day for making a difference.
Throughout the week, corporate teams will take part in a variety of hands-on activities that may include:

Supporting ReStore operations and merchandising

Building cedar planters, sheds and other items for sale

Constructing materials needed for Critical Home Repairs eg. fence panels

Assisting with community repair projects

Supporting donation collection and sustainability initiatives
Each day is designed to create connection, collaboration, and visible impact while helping Habitat provide affordable homeownership opportunities, critical repairs, and environmental sustainability through the ReStore.
