Cobourg, ON –– Habitat for Humanity Northumberland has launched its newly revamped Home Repairs Program, designed to serve both households in need and homeowners seeking quality, trusted renovation services. 

For more than eight years, Habitat Northumberland has helped local families stay safely in their homes through its Critical Home Repair program. Now, with the introduction of the Market Home Repairs & Renos Program, the service is expanding to include everyone in the community. 

“At Habitat Northumberland, we believe everyone deserves a decent place to live,” said Cathy Borowec, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Northumberland. “Whether your household income is under $35,000 or well above it, our Home Repairs & Renos Program is designed to meet your needs. And when homeowners hire Habitat for renovations, they’re also helping us continue to serve those who can’t afford to have work done.” 

Habitat Northumberland is offering services that include flooring, siding, decks, fences, accessibility upgrades, framing and drywall, kitchen and bathroom renovations, lawn care and seasonal yard maintenance, and more. 

With competitive market pricing for those who can afford it, and geared-to-income solutions for households under $35,000, the Home Repairs & Renos Program ensures equitable access to safe, quality housing solutions while generating funds to sustain Habitat’s work.
