On Sunday April 13th, Habitat Northumberland hosted the popular Sunday Dinner in the ReStore. Staff and volunteers changed over the ReStore from a retail store to a restaurant for one night for 120 guests for 3 course dinner courtesy of Prep Food Company. Entertainment was provided by volunteer Scott Fulop.
Behind the scenes, this event was the culmination of months of planning by a tireless team of volunteers and staff. From securing sponsorships to organizing the 'flip' of the store, every detail was handled with care and dedication. We’re especially grateful to our sponsors, without whom this event wouldn’t have been possible.
Dinner sponsors for the evening include: Jacqueline Pennington Real Estate Team, Borowec Inc. and Part Time CFO Services LLP.
Wine and Cocktail sponsors include: Schmidt Law Legal Services, Structural Panels, Schmidt Law Legal Services - Scott McCracken, Robyn Mumford Real Estate, Meaghan Adams Law.
Hors D'Oeurves & Dessert sponsors include: The Mortgage Centre, Linmac, Doug and Bridget Smith, Racine Law, Racine Financial & Copeland Remax Real Estate.
In addition to the funds raised through sponsorship, ticket sales, and silent auction, guests also had the opportunity to give through our One Brick initiative. Over $10,000 was raised by our generous guests. Most importantly, the funds raised will go directly toward our current build projects & home repair program. This $30,000 will have a profound and lasting impact on our organization.
Here are some of the photos from the evening. Thank you for making this event the most successful in it's history.
