Habitat for Humanity Northumberland Raises Over $69,000 Through Holiday Fundraising Campaigns

[Northumberland County, ON – January 12th] — Habitat for Humanity Northumberland is proud to announce that it raised a total of $69,175 through its 2025 holiday fundraising initiatives, with $25,000 raised through the Great Gingerbread Build Off and $44,175 raised through the Matching Holiday Campaign: Home for the Holidays.

These festive campaigns brought together community members, local businesses, sponsors, and donors to support affordable housing for families across Northumberland County.

The Home for the Holidays Matching Campaign was made possible through the generous support of matching sponsors Part Time CFO Services and  Stadtke Plumbing and Heating, whose dollar-for-dollar matching gifts doubled the impact of donations and helped raise $44,175 during the campaign.

The Great Gingerbread Build Off, which raised $25,000, was proudly presented by Jacqueline Pennington Real Estate, the event’s Title Sponsor. The creative and family-friendly fundraiser invited teams and individuals to showcase their holiday spirit while supporting Habitat Northumberland’s mission.

As housing challenges continue to grow across Northumberland County, the demand for long-term, stable housing solutions is rising. Funds raised through these holiday campaigns will directly support Habitat for Humanity Northumberland’s efforts to build and repair homes giving more local families the opportunity to own a home and create lasting stability.
